October — a thoughtful month sitting on the cusp of Winter, textured with sharpened mornings and darkening evenings. And, sometimes, like today, strewing our path with such sunlight through shimmering chameleon trees that it twirls our very souls.
‘… And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.’
(Wendell Berry, ‘The Peace of Wild Things’)
What a privilege – I live in such a place as to see this often… blessed.
